Student Life

A Snapshot of Life @ Liberty

We here at Liberty Baptist School work hard to have a well rounded school experience. We know that it is important to give the students opportunities to interact with each other in a fun and social atmosphere. The staff and students of Liberty Baptist School have a little motto, "Work hard; play hard!!" Liberty Baptist School would not be the great school that it is without the heart and spirit of our students. Our students know how to have a great time while at their school.

They participate in several activities such as...

     and so much more!

Back to School Kick Off

Starting a new year of school is both exciting and a little overwhleming! That's why, at the beginning of each school year, Liberty Baptist High School students enjoy a time of activities, games, and orientation. This allows for students to hang out with old friends and get acquainted with new students, staff, and faculty.

Family Picnic

Food and fun for the whole family!

The back to school picnic is a great way for parents to get involved with meeting their students' classmates, other families, and the Liberty Baptist School Faculty.

Fall Festival

Food, games, prizes, music, and more! The Liberty Baptist School Fall Festival is an experience you will certainly not want to miss!

Each year, hundreds of people flock to our campus to enjoy this exciting event.

 Dramatic Productions/Music Concerts

The Liberty Singers and various school bands play numerous times throughout the year. Their performances include various public appearances--at the airport, Christmas in the park, and several concerts right here on campus-- Fall festival, Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, church services, and more. Some of the performances involve dramatic productions.

Athletic Competition

Liberty Baptist School offers a variety of sports for its students and is a member of  the Private School Athletic League (PSAL).

Girls may participate in volleyball, basketball, and softball.

Guys may participate in basketball, and volleyball.

Famous Americans Day

The day before Thanksgiving break, Elementary students dress up in period costumes and present poetry and history projects. Awards are given during a special ceremony in the auditorium.

Turkey Bowl

While the Elementary students are being cute, the seniors and the faculty face off for the ultimate in flag football competition!

Spirit Week

There is lots of school spirit to go around at Liberty Baptist. This is probably one of the most exciting events of the year. Each high school class competes in a variety of events to see who has the most spirit.

Each day of the week is assigned to a different class, and each class chooses a theme for that day, so whether it's survivor day, wild west day, or a day right out a story book, Spirit week is sure to be an adventure you won't want to miss!

The climax and grand finale of spirit week is the homecoming event and alumni games. During Homecoming, each senior's personal biography is shared and academic achievements are highlighted, and the new Homecoming King and Queen are crowned.

Fine Arts Competition

Liberty Baptist School is a member of the Golden State Association of Christian Schools (GSACS) and the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS), which affords our students the opportunity to compete with other students throughout the state in areas of the performing arts, visual arts, and academic testing.
